Each summer, SMART+ students spend 6-weeks experiencing outdoor adventures, local field trips, STEAM lessons, and a mentorship program with our Man The Bay Educator Fellows!

Throughout the school year on select Saturdays and during holiday breaks, we offer interactive STEAM classes and workshop series based on student interests.  Our current lessons encompass business development, financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship and feature local Black entrepreneurs.

A combination of 1:1 and group mentorship sessions foster meaningful connections while supporting academic skills and social emotional skills development. This year round mentorship program includes outdoor adventures, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) activities, and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL).

Entrepreneurs & Community Partners

Our team is always looking for Black entrepreneurs and business owners to share their experience and expertise with Urban Ed students. Interested in learning more about hosting a workshop, participating in an event or sponsoring an activity?
